A thousand little things.
🕑 Added 2019-08-12 20:22:46 +0000 UTCSo, it unfortunately took us a couple of days to get the Peace Island source to run properly within the Unity Pro editor, but we finally made it...
The stumbling block was bringing in a new sky system that allowed for more realistic lighting and clouds.
Note how we now have multilayered clouds- this means we can make the sunsets even more spectacular, going forward.
The lighting overall is a tad more "real" although there remain tweaks.
We're also bringing in a new ocean- you can see we're still having a few issues, there:

We've also started working with a new animator, who has begun creating new motions for the cats.
We will, of course, be making tweaks, but I just wanted to show ya'll that we're forging ahead. Once we have the basic animations down, we're going to speak with our character controller guy...
We also had a conversation with a composer down in Massachusetts, who might be able to provide some new music for the soundtrack- more on that, as it develops.
We've begun the process of integrating more variety in the foliage of the Island, but due to SpeedTree issues, we're not able to bring everything in, right now - so we started improving the hedges around the island, as best we could...
You can again see how more "natural" the clouds look, with our new skybox.
Getting our legal and business houses in order is turning out to be a bit more complex than we anticipated, but we're forging ahead, as our schedules allow us.
Oh, and one last thing:
The other day I realized: There are four times as many women actively working on Peace Island, than men. Not because of any hiring preference- we just tend to favor the most talented people who approach us, and in this case, men generally have just tended to be a tad less proactive in getting on-board.

I switched tiers so I hit $25 by October 1. Hopefully this doesn’t cause confusion. So hyped whenever this comes out. Take time to make yourself happy with it.
