Stop and Smell the Roses
🕑 Added 2022-04-27 15:04:42 +0000 UTCI recently visited the Huntington Gardens and smelled A LOT OF ROSES. Most of them don’t smell like anything. Some of them smell great; bright smells, juicy ones, clean ones, sweet ones, heavy scents, and seductive ones. There’s even some bad smelling sour ones! Roses have such a range of scents, it’s incredible.
My top favorite good smelling rose was the “Huntington 100” which was cultivated by them for their 100th anniversary. I wonder if they sell seeds for that strain??

What a beautiful picture, you are serving Botticelli Primavera!! I go there regularly as I live next to Pasadena, you should try the Rose garden for high tea as well as their Sunday garden brunch, though both require reservations.
