Woke up today to some pretty unwelcome news today: Patreon's decided to shake things up with their policy update.
Not exactly the ideal start i've planed, especially when I was gearing up to end my hiatus and get back to posting art next month.
But hey, I'm not about to let that stop me!
WE WILL GO INTO APRIL AS PLANNED! Even though I have the feeling it will end bandly...
fo I can't shake this feeling that trouble might be brewing on the horizon.
So, I'm looking into other platforms like JustForFans, Fancy, SubscribeStar, and OnlyFans. Gonna dive into their policies and see if any of them could be a good fit. If anyone has experiences with these platforms and/or other alternatives, please contact me!

Let's hope they reconsider after seeing how hard Gumroad will fall face in the mud after the NSFW ban... but I doubt it...

yeah... on the firt glance it looks "okay" fo artworks... but there is a point which destroys it all: "Animated or illustrated works (e.g. cartoons, comic strips, graphic novels) that depict nudity in sexual contexts !! as long as they comply with Patreon’s other guidelines.!!" So yeah....

Reading that it sounds like illustration is still fine, and only actual photo/video is against the rules? Per the 5th bullet under "Permitted." I don't think your work falls afoul of this new ruling.

I've had another artist go to Subscribestar. Not much experience with it yet, but it seems okay so far.
