My interpretation of "reborn kite" is that this is a new person with a different personality that just has Kite's memory. As for the killua/ gon end, I think their relationship is fractured. They didn't want to part ways, but things were definitely awkward and a softhearted apology from Gon doesn't erase the things he did and said. Killua has finally found his purpose though, and it's no longer a tag along.

This has been such a great series, really enjoyed this. It's over now but I'm glad you loved this show as much as I do, "well maybe not as much as me", but you really liked it.

most likely Ging meant exact opposite what you said I'm pretty sure he was trying to convince Gon that Kite was not trying to sacrifice himself to save Gon and Killua

You're over thinking it. Chimera ants can have memories of past lives as we've seen with Colt or Meleoron. So Kite could be reincarnated as a chimera ant. And still remember everything. Ants age fast. It didn't take 18 years to grow the king.

I love the payoff from Episode 38 (The one where Gon and Killua are on Whale Island). When Gon says essentially "Why don't we stick together until I find my Dad and you find something you want to do". Now Gon's found his Dad and Killua found something he wants (Protecting Alluka), so they part ways. Also on an unrelated note since it's never really brought up again but at this point Gon still can't use Nen.
