Shale Hill Secrets: Gallery Update

We are happy to announce the gallery update is here!
The scene gallery, which will enable you to quickly view all special scenes you have unlocked during the game, is something that many of you have been requesting for a while. We are so happy to finally have this feature implemented. We have included a few separate options inside each scene, which will help you replay the scene in the way you wish to do so (with build up or straight to the special stuff).
The Platinum bonus scene gallery is something we have also wanted to do for a while. Just clicking through photos is not the same, so we are finally happy to have the bonus scenes in engine with sound, transitions and more importantly: some text to give you the most immersive experience possible. Please keep in mind that these scenes are fantasy scenarios and therefore the way they play is a lot more porny than what we usually do in-game.
To access these scenes, you will be taken to a Patreon login page to ensure you have an active Platinum membership. There is only a small number of scenes for now, but the other SHS scenes are currently being written and will hopefully be included in the next update. We have also given Gold patrons access to a demo scene to give you a little taste of this update!
Update: Shale Hill Secrets v0.4.8 has now been released to include the October 2021 Valerie bonus scene with text, along with the gallery update for MacOS and Android!
Please Note: These versions are still considered to be beta, so problems may occur. If you have an issue, please let us know either in the comments below or more preferably on Discord.

OK I loaded 4.4 and went into settings and it was in fullscreen , I switched to windowed and closed and was able to get 4.6 to load...... but it crashes when i click on the gallery option

Whatever the default is, because it crashes immediately after the start screen.

Is the game in fullscreen or windowed mode? What do you mean with "crash"? It just closes or is there any kind of error message?

Just want to say I noticed the same issue as well. However, when I tried to reopen the app a couple times, things worked just fine again

For some reason 4.5 and 4.6 updates crash right after the opening splash screen for me 4.4 still works correctly. System specs= i5 8300h 16Gb of ram and a 1050 ti any other info you need please ask.

Definitely not this weekend. We are a bit behind of schedule due to a covid case in the team - as we commented in previous posts -, but we are working hard to finish it ASAP. We'll make another post soon to keep everyone updated on this matter.

Hi everyone at Love-Joint, I'm back to support you guys after the hibernation from the end of DFD, and it seems like a lot have changed, bit of some sad news but also some happier stuffs. I just want to say thank you for getting me into visual novels in the first place, and for keep making good contents. SHS looks very promising and you guys deserve every bit of success that you all have achieved. Given the precariousness of life as we are entering the 3rd year of the ongoing "zombie" pandemic, gotta say I'm unsure how long I'll be able to maintain my supports. But well, we'll see how things go and I'll do my best, just like you all have been doing over the last few years. If anyone has time to go through this emotional yarn, thank you, and take care :)
