Watching this for the first time after finishing the Xenogears analysis. 4-5 episodes huh lol

The post on the previous podcast actually had a link "Patreon Exclusive Podcast 1.mp3" immediately inbetween the title of the post and "Hello patrons!" and clicking on that directly downloads the mp3 file. Which is incredibly convenient as I like to listen to the podcast while on a walk.
I canβt download it but the advantage of an audio version is that it letβs us listen with the phoneβs screen off, so I can listen on the bus with headphones or in my car with Bluetooth.

Were you guys able to download it? I thought it only allowed you guys to play it back here on patreon. That was the reason I didn't make an audio only version this time, seemed redundant because I thought either way you'd have to play it back through the link. I didn't know it was allowing you to download the file.

thanks for your answer re: xenogears' brokenness. i think i learned something in your answer β unlike you (and probably most people), i actually would prefer to play it just once and continue contemplating it afterward π

also, I like the idea of you doing three video game podcasts per year, but try not to burn yourself out! as long as you're pacing yourself i'm happy with whatever the output is. and i wouldn't want you to detract at all from the FF and Xenogears (!!) series next year anyway, those are the most exciting for sure

about the person who asked if you would ever take donations to do specific content β i'm not sure what they meant, but it reminds me of lorerunner's model. he basically takes a regular income from Patreon, and places additional bounties on specific games priced relative to how much time and work they'll be. He's the only one I've seen do that and I'm not sure how transferable it is to other creators, but I don't think it's unreasonable
