The dungeons don't reset with time. Serini and Sunny go out and recruit monsters to fill the dungeons with, as either age or bugbear hunters claim them. They manage the entire dungeon complex from behind the scenes, hence their home being called Backstage. Presumably, since there are divinations at each door to disguise the swapovers, there are also divinations at the heart of each mini-dungeon that track whether a given individual has reached it or not - regardless of whether the monsters in the chamber are still alive. So when the divination system has noted a particular person's presence in every single chamber, the final dungeon unlocks.

Don't the dungeons reset with time? Does one need to beat them all before _any_ reset? This feels like it would need too complicated of a magic to implement, on such a level that it some aspect of it could break and expose the whole thing.
