Read "Madness of Angels" by Kate Griffin. There's a *great* moment where a ward is cast by reciting the fine print on the back of a subway ticket, explaining that you may not pass the turnstiles without first purchasing one yourself. It's probably my favorite instance of this trope.

Guys, that's not Mimi. Mimi's with the Order. Unless ALL of Serini's mimics are named Mimi, but that seems like it'd defeat the purpose of naming them. The stools are probably named, like, Michael and Mitchell.
