Suraj and Pat hating on mayonnaise while I eat a meat and cheese sandwich with mayo got me more riled up than it should have. Maybe it's just because I'm as white as mayonnaise, but I love mayo!😂

Sorry Chris but your repeating a racial stereotype/myth. People with african descent hair can and do get lice. The argument is "coily" hair (the oily hair products is also a myth) is harder for lice to grip but that isint a 100% defense and it doesn't matter for the most common lice species in America who have claws adapted for this purpose. Other locations that have may lice without claws are less likely to survive in that hair type but again lice still will get on your head in those locations too its not some kind of magic barrier. So in America the stereotype/myth is particularly wrong even more so. The whole mayo thing is also not backed by science. The idea is the thick oily layer would block the lice breathing pores but their is no science to back this and it does nothing to lice eggs. So again the idea of using oily hair products is a myth also. This is backed by the CDC and multiple black parenting/health sites and articles. But myth perpetuates vs educating.
