Two notes for Adal: if you buy a full gallon of water after you fly into an area, it’s significantly cheaper than a pile of individual bottles. And those melty, delicious peppermints are called puffs and they come in a multitude of flavors. 🤯 However, at the candy shop I got them from, I suspect they (shockingly) aren’t very popular so a large number were hard and not very melty. Still recommend tracking them down!

The parking app that they use in Portland, Oregon is a lifesaver. I hated having to go to the little machine and remember my license plate every time. There's no line to wait in when you use the app, and you can add additional time without having to dash back to where you parked if things go longer than planned

Total digresstion, but while the subject of Sci-fi challenging human perception is on the table. I just want to throw out there for anyone who stumbles upon this. The video game "Control" is one of my favorite takes on a new view of reality I have come across in many years. To whomever it may concern, I heartely recommend giving it a shot. It was such a lovely experience I want to share it with as many as I can. And to sign off, I love this community and all of you with my whole being. I love being able to express ideas with you all in a place of acceptance and progression. May the riddle gods have mercy on us all 🤣😅

I mean, at the end of the day, of course art is subjective. But T2 changed the landscape of Sci-fi, and challenged human ingenuity on what havoc it might unleash upon us. I mean long before the matrix was ever in the zeitgeist. Maverick was fun for sure, but to say it's even in the same tier is insulting. But I see I'm not alone, that makes me feel better haha.
