Fortune teller, behind the scenes : wall building and tarot cards ageing.

This was a lot of work for an ok-ish result, I’m not sure I’d do this again, even if I like the idea of having a solid panel to use on my sets from time to time. But these « stone » wallpapers were really awful, I need to find an alternative. Anyway I could put that gorgeous window into my set and that was the goal !
I also share the process of aging the tarot cards. Tarot decks are always laminated these days and that couldn’t fit the historical theme, so after many tests I finally used tissue paper (and a bit of olive oil) to give them a more authentic look. I was quite happy with that !
Have a wonderful week :)

Thanks, but unfortunately there would be no room to put that window in my studio. But my husband and I are thinking of a spot for it :)

I thought at first the stone window was being put up as a window for your studio. I think it would look really wonderful that way. The background music went very well with this.

The fortune teller video is magnificent and probably my all time favorite of yours so far. It is so difficult to choose, though, because all of your work is superb. <3
