3D Sculpts and Colored Concept Art! BTS #76

I haven't had too busy of a week. My sister from Oregon is visiting and I've been spending time with her. I had Jon over for our 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY PODCAST! Wooo!! We're not really sure if we're going to change anything with the podcast or if we're going to take a little break to do some retrospection.
The video I'm working on right now is an easier video so I don't have to stress out while my sister is here. It's a video answering a lot of questions, mostly beginner ones. A lot of these questions aren't big enough to take up one whole video, but they're still valuable to talk about. There were A LOT of questions asked, so I grabbed the top 15 that would work for the format.
I asked Tatiana to color up the concept arts for the wood elves and they are...very pretty..I figure that they'll eventually be on a kickstarter campaign, so they should be colored! Also, the 3rd concept is done.
Level 52 Studios is still working on my character "Fayde" from a video game. Few little things to fix and then they'll print it out and send it to me. I'm super excited for this video. I want to talk about the video game Heroes of Newerth (where this character comes from), and how that game impacted my life over the 10+ years I played it while painting the miniature. It'll be less about the crunchy details of painting, and more about a story. I know those aren't always preferred, but this is just one I really want to do.

Hoping the podcast doesn’t go on hiatus; I really like the alternating schedule you guys have with Paint Bravely right now and I think you guys have maintained a really solid quality across the podcast. That being said, I could understand taking a bit of time to narrow down some specific topics or guests or something. These Wood Elves look absolutely incredible. I’m super excited to see how these concepts are translated into models. I would be really interested in a potential video where you collaborate with your 3D artist to discuss their process.
Concept art and 3d render of Fayde all look aweeesome. Really digging that 3rd concept piece think its my favourite of them so far. Enjoy the family time, that's the life stuff that really matters.

Looking forward to the Fayde video. I played for as similar time frame. Started with HoN during beta and for several years after release, then moved to Dota2 a little after it's release.

Is there any chance we could buy STL versions? Yes...printed isnt as good, but I would like a few cheap "practice" ones. (Not to mention those 4k printers are coming out soon).
Looking forward to the upcoming videos, will be very interesting, especially the one recounting your game experience and the impact it has on what will be a beautiful mini. Also, those colored images are sick!
