A bit disappointed that half the runways were dessert themed. Knowing how rich these countries’ cuisines are, I was really hoping for a feast (pun intended), but left feeling like this was a “Candy Crush” runway instead. When Gala said her concept was chocolate and candy, I was really confused. How much more nondescript can you get? Oh, I know. Ice cream. Missed opportunity to educate the children.

If you go back to Loreen’s Eurovision performance, also make sure to check Käärijä - the Finnish contestant, song “Cha cha cha”. Loreen won the competition by being the judges’ favorite, but Käärijä was the true sensation that year winning the popular vote by far. Very out of the box and kinda “drag-y” / “campy”.
