The Coltrane fractal
🕑 Added 2017-07-01 00:19:50 +0000 UTC Hey guys! This is a video celebrating 200k subscribers on the channel, and it's...well, kinda all over the place. I explore much more of that musical fractal idea I often ramble about, harmonics, math, science, the physiology of the ear, and more.
Hope you enjoy!

I understood that the whole 8 bars solo melody is perceived at some point as a waveform, that's why you calculated those ratios, in order to assign different pitches relatives to the root waveform. That's what we can hear starting at 128x speed part. To my ears, the timbre produced is quite similar to a square wave form. I assume that this is because of hardware + software limitations. Great video though!
