She’s been shooting a new project all week — 12 hour days — and I think y’all will love it. But she just came over for dinner, so tired from a long day, and we’re about to eat some noodles and hang out with the dogs.
We are thinking of you, dear Patrons, and were just chatting about how much we appreciate Patreon and that you’re all so supportive, even on those days when we’re weary and foggy-headed and hungry, and you let us just show up imperfectly to see the behind-the-scenes of being a person who makes stuff.

Well today we try to uparmor the fencing around our goats as one of the “girls” keeps breaking out. She is such a talented escape artist (we’ve tried electric fence, welded steel fencing, electrified welded steel fencing and ultimately only a tether works but that’s cruel) and yet she breaks out (when the entire herd was hospitalized, after someone poisoned them by putting azalea branches in the pen, the hospital staff commented they’d be walking around the hospital and would hear goat sounds from a closet or office and there was Oreo (unfortunately goats have zero guilt so we can’t shame her). Given the stalls they were in have 50kg+ solid steel doors we never figured out how she broke out repeatedly.

Taking a break with super supportive friends is wonderful! Your smiles bring smiles. I'm glad I'm able to give you some support. Patreon gives both creators and their supporters the opportunity to make good in the world. My days of long weeks are over for the most part, though I still have some weeks with a few long days. One of my chill activities is that, every Sunday morning I watch a couple of Youtubers who make videos about mudlarking, primarily on the River Thames in and near London. Vicariously following along while they hunt for trash from centuries past that is now often treasure. I live in Wisconsin, and will likely never make it to the Thames, but sharing in its history is just so relaxing, and exciting at the same time.

So excited to see what you've been working on, and glad to hear you're being looked after! I've just gifted my fiancé one of Adam's signed aprons as it felt unfair he didn't get a ring too! I think he'll be wearing it all day while we decorate the house, get our Christmas tree up and eat excessive amounts of chocolate! Have a lovely weekend ladies!

My long week time to chill activity: I'm going out for a haircut, and I'll be reading a book. I've been trying to get back into reading for ages after deciding "reading is dumb" during puberty like, twelve-fourteen years ago. And I think it's finally succeeding, already halfway through! I will also be upgrading my pc this weekend.

The week's been pretty busy, we (family of four) are about to finish the new house and move out of the rented apartment and into a spacious house of our own. It's Saturday morning here in Lviv, Ukraine, good amount of snow outside and even though we have a lot of plans for today it'll be good kinds of errands running. Excitement and time together.

Hi Alie & Simone, I support servers and applications for a local cancer center, and all week I've been chasing database problems and issues with the CT scanner interface, two things unrelated to each other but decided to break the same day. Got everything fixed last night and now chillin practing xmas songs on my bass which I play very imperfectly. Now my dog is yakking so it never ends - cheers!

For a split second I was confused which Patreon page I was on! Good to see Ol' Dad Ward on here, and happy to hear you lovingly ordered Simone to eat. 😂 Long week + time to chiilllll activity is cooking or baking, and listening to a podcast. It's just real nice to sort of zone out on an activity that brings me joy and also get to have a clear result by the end (if-I'm-lucky-delicious-but-at-the-very-least-palatable meal). Lately my partner and I have been going through popular shows from the 90s/00s that we sort of missed when we were younger -- so another chill activity has been slowly burning through Buffy The Vampire Slayer finally. Nothing like late 90s SFX to make you laugh and unwind!

Long weeks are best topped off with a good meal and good times with friends! I ended my long week by going axe throwing with my dad for a family friends' birthday. I got to reconnect with someone I haven't seen in 18 years... She yelled at me when I told her I was 34 now. This weekend is going to continue to be a goodin!
