Its been a long month, I've been working very hard to get the pixie/fairy update out as soon as I can.
So far, I can show the progress I've made so far.
At first, you'll meet a street vendor who will talk about these "sprites," which will start a simple quest for you to find the new race.
Oh, just real quick. I figured out fishnets that work with the new skin shader, so it actually looks tight around the skin. 
You will then be able to encounter sprites from tree stumps—only the pixie variant for now; they drop something called "sprite glitter" on picking it up, which has a slightly odd effect on your character for a short time.
Anyway, after playing that quest out, you'll be able to encounter pixies, just like in the video.
The area where you will house them is the little garden, likely will play into the quest to make up that area.
It's a little barebones at the moment.
But yeah, that's the gist of it. I've done other things not worth mentioning, like the whole idle and coding set up for these characters, which has been the bulk of the work, and I still have a lot more to get through.
This, with the whole shader update, feels really good. I can't promise I'll get an update out this month. If I do, it'll be basic fairy stuff, and honestly, I would really like to let this update cook a bit more. 
Another little thing to mention with the new shader is a color picker, which is a nice little quality of life update.
Lastly, I'm looking at getting into voice acting, at least for the pixie character. So that's something to look forward to!

I accidentally opened up an old scene and got a jump scare. It was fun putting new and old characters side by side.

i just meant generally, one image he posted of the catgirls were of the anthropomorphic variety, and i thought they looked pretty good

I don't recall any references to anthro in previous posts, but that first magical fruit has got to be some sort of hint of things to come. >.>

right now im partial to waiting for the implementation of the breeding system as well as some monster/anthropomorphic thralls. the variety we see now is good and all- but i think its in the best interest of the game to start implementing all races after you finish the quality of rendering and stuff. definitely before we really get into the meat and potatoes of the story.

I love the updates and can not wait to see how this plays! I wish we still had the old male transparency button though. I think getting it done right is more important than getting the update out faster.

Awesome! I think most of your patreon's would agree, that we should Just let you cook and looking forward to the next release. Because I and many others can see how much work you put in this game, so take your time and have a look for yourself from time to time.
