I will admit, I have taken that one line in the scene "What do you think you can do, just wander around town?!" and I say that everywhere I go now. But: oh, my goodness, disagree. (In this next thing I'm going to say, I'm frustrated at other people / don't take it personally : ) John Waters, SAVE ME, not everything under the sun is camp. I am sorry. It doesn't work like that.

Right. A perfect example of it working, is from Phantasm I - 1979 theme, to a more dramatic Phantasm 2 (1988) theme. They did it the right way (enhancing it) making it darker, deeper bass, they didn't make Phantasm into "Home Alone" theme... like H2O did.

This movie is so camp I love it. To be honest tho I think JLC portrayal of Lorrie is much more believable than in 2018. Cause remember H20 eliminates everything after H2, and Halloween 2018 eliminates everything after the first one. She is WAY less traumatized in H20 than the isolated gun shooting nut version of her in 2018, ESPECIALLY since in the 2018 one she didn’t even go through anything at the hospital, just the one night lol. But when Lorrie is drunk and yells at her son in public is pure camp

I hate how they tried to make the original theme music, more dramatic and like an opera. Just give me 1978 hardcore theme music... stop trying to make it sound all dramatic and important =mistake #1

I loved this movie back in the day😊 it hits different in the theater with your family/friends and the crowd. I still love that scene of Laurie grabbing the ax and screaming out for Michael.
