Model Crash Course - Body
🕑 Added 2024-03-11 13:00:12 +0000 UTCYO! here we are the final section of the model crash course the body ! This is the first of hopefully many smaller tutorial series i will be doing for yall ! I obvi didnt cover everything in this either , texturing is a big part of the character process and is def coming in the next few months ! Do you also model hair with a subdivided plane?

If you are looking to make your own textures i would recommend studying up on things like color theory and learning how to render shadows and light values in 2D art , even to the most minimal extent that kind of stuff helps when drawing out your own textures cause it is just straight up 2D art at that point ! Its a good skill set to have a good fundamental understanding of 2D art when doing 3D as you have more versatility and range.

I have some problems with painting/shading the pants/shirt, does anyone have resources or practice methods with which I could get better at this? I don't really have a background in arts.
