I wonder what this will mean for the comic moving forward. MoGal obviously isn't "The Wendy Show" exclusively. But the reaction to this daughter-mother pair's life-change has been amazingly positive. All personal reservations aside, this approach comparatively leaves greater room for further story and development. I doubt I'm the only one who will enjoy seeing them. (P.S. Carmilla guarding/watching Wendy at the window did it for me. Jennifer's liberation from secrecy among her family helps too! She may now freely be her "other self.")
