Stoked as hell to start the week off with this episode! AARON FUCKING PAUL!!!!! He crushed it! I think it's so funny that they literally had him tap back into his Jesse Pinkman self when he was (spoiler alert) planning on torching Walter's house!
This episode was really solid because it totally made us empathize with others that come in the crosshairs of superheroes. Totally reminds me of Batman vs. Superman. Anyone else?
I think these last 2 episodes of the show will be FUCKING CRAZY! Not saying this episode was a filler by any means, but it seemed more like an alternate perspective on the surroundings and circumstances rather than an actual progression of the storyline.

It is interesting to consider what is right when it comes to people with powers. I can't agree with what seems to be your stance, that people with powers don't get a choice and have to sacrifice their lives for the normal people. While those were not your exact words, that's the sentiment I took from what you were saying during Rex and Rae's scene. If I had powers, I would feel an obligation to use them to help others. Arguably, that is why many superheros do it. They should, however, have the freedom to decide for themselves if that is what they want to do. Regardless of how much power you have, you should not be forced or made to feel obligated to use it for the benefit of others. I hope no one compares that to wealthy people in the real world, as those are very different. I think it becomes harmful to expect and demand that other people put themselves in harms way for the sake of others. If they have powers I would like for them to, but the entitlement that comes with EXPECTING them to help you is wrong in my opinion. No one is required to save the world. If we build a society that values putting your natural abilities toward the betterment of everyone, then I think we would see these people willingly defending others. Their choice. Then you come to the point of, what is the best way to help people? We see atom eve wanting to help people without restriction, and that hurt people in some cases. Having power doesn't mean you always know how to help. It just means you have the potential to help a lot of people, which also means you have the potential to hurt just as many. If you are not careful, feeling an obligation can lead to resentment which can lead to lashing out and hurting people. So I would just be cautious in thinking that super powers means you MUST be a hero, because no person should take away someone else's right to self determination in their life.

I remember this part from the comics. Sad how his wife had to involve herself and their kid in his revenge. I didn't and still don't get the story here tho. Mark didn't do anything but try to save people. It's Omniman who punched Mark so hard he went flying into Chicago. Powerplex even knew extra information about how the fight went down cuz he worked for the GDA and we see a clip of him watching the subway scene with Omniman holding Mark by the head. How could Powerplex blame ANY of it on Mark? Idiotic.
