Dixie the Sloshing Stray
🕑 Added 2023-04-06 05:47:11 +0000 UTCAfter achieving their big break performing at the largest country music concert in the world, the band known as, “The Singin’ Strays,” had spread their fame far and wide. Many animals from all over flocked to their concerts as they toured from city to city. Dixie reveled in the spotlight and attention she received from the adoring crowds, having entire venues shout her name compared to the small town crowds she used to perform for. Life felt complete, and with her mate Cash singing with her on stage, she couldn’t have been happier.
Before and after performances, the saluki often looked forward to the gifts her fans would leave for her in her dressing room. Her heart swooned reading through a few of the letters she’d receive, while the many bouquets of roses that filled the room were enough to stock a small flower shop. What really intrigued her though, were the bountiful chocolates, cakes, and snacks, usually enough to last her until arriving at the next venue. It perplexed her why her fans would send her so many treats. Still, she couldn’t help but indulge her guilty pleasure partaking in each gift.
Feeling her place in Cash’s heart was solidified after all they had been through, a future without the Spanish hound never crossed her mind. She grew comfortable with her standing, stuffing her face with sweets and snacks while they were on the road or waiting to perform. In time, her once slender physique gradually plumped up, forming an orb of pudge around her middle. All of her bandmates but Cash questioned her snacking habits, offering healthier alternatives. But the saluki simply laughed it off, confident she could lose the weight quicker than she’d put it on.
Today’s concert had finished, with the last of the crowds exiting the auditorium and the staff cleaning up the venue. Dixie left her dressing room as quickly as possible, walking back to the tour bus, carrying as many of her delectable snacks as she could in one foreleg. She leapt onto a long seat at the center of the bus, setting down her array of desserts in front of her. Her eyes covetously fixated on a chocolate bundt cake she noticed before the concert. Producing a plastic fork, she ate it piece by piece. Its scrumptious-moist texture and vanilla glaze made her murmur with delight.
“That’s going straight to your hips.”
From the back of the bus, Dixie’s friend and assistant, Zelda, walked up beside her. The cat jumped onto the kitchen counter in front of the seat, looking down at her with disapproval. “Come on, Dix. Aren’t you getting dinner with Cash soon anyways? Why hork down the extra calories?”
“It’s just a little bit of cake,” Dixie waved a paw. “Whether I have it now or after dinner, it don’t matter. Besides, I’ve been dying to take a bite out of this all day.”
“Yeah, well while you’re eating that cake, the tabloids are eating up your new image.”
The cat pushed down a magazine over the rest of Dixie’s snacks. The cover had a scandalous title, with a close up photo of her plump waistline and a less than modest looking mugshot. “This is nothing. We’re famous now, so of course the paparazzi are going to put out stuff like this. Honestly, I think I still look good.” She stuffed the rest of the cake in her mouth with a paw, “actually, *mmff*, I think it’ll be several dozen more cakes before any sort of weight I put on really becomes noticeable. Just look how far they have to zoom in.”
“You know, your weight isn’t the only thing the paps been talking about.”
“Please. Why should I care what they’re talking about?”
“It has to do with Cash.”
Dixie froze her paw short of popping a cupcake in her mouth. “What about Cash?”
“Something along the lines of him looking around for a new mate.”
“Nuh uh, that’s silly,” she ate the cupcake, crumbs falling onto the seat as her teeth grazed its corners. “Just some tabloid nonsense. Cash would never replace me.”
Zelda grinned, “oh yeah, and where is he now?”
“He’s…probably on his way here right now. You know how much of a chatterbox he is. He’s probably talking to a few of the concert staff before he gets here.”
“I don’t know, Dix. I’ve seen it happen before. A girl gets a little too comfortable, thinking her mate will love them forever. Then they start to slack off, don’t pretty up as much, eating whatever she wants, puts on some weight, and suddenly, their mate starts looking the other way. A thinner-prettier piece of tail starts looking more attractive, and eventually, the poor chubby gal gets the boot.”
Dixie pouted her lips, looking down at her curving pudge from the corner of her eye. “Cash…can’t replace me. I’m part of this band. He ain’t gunna find anybody half as good to take my place.”
“He might not replace your spot in the band, but nothing says he can’t replace you as his mate.”
Dixie looked down at her pile of snacks; they suddenly no longer appeared as tantalizing as before. The cat’s words stung like ants nipping at her heart. She valued Zelda’s brutal honesty most days to help keep her focused and alert, but after looking forward to enjoying her treats all day, the sweet sugary taste that still lingered on her tongue quickly grew sour. Perhaps she had been indulging a little too heavily on her gifts? While she was still borderline chubby, working off her weight was still easily feasible.
Just as she was about to reply to Zelda, the two took notice of the band manager entering the bus. The golden retriever walked over to the kitchen sink, filling up a glass of water from the faucet. “Hey gals. Cash wanted me to tell you he won’t be able to make it for dinner Dix, and that you should just get something without him.”
The saluki sat up from her seat, “w-what? Why? What’s he doing?”
“Well, when I saw him, he was getting mobbed by a bunch of fans. Signing autographs and the like, you know how it is. Anyways, don’t wait up for him. We all know how hungry you can get.”
He drank the contents of his cup, collected a jacket and cap from the driver’s seat, and exited the bus. Dixie looked back to Zelda, the cat’s smug expression causing her to bare her teeth. Her mind raced with images of prettied up country hounds rubbing shoulders with her mate, and Cash goofily grinning, making light of all the flirtatious passes of the hordes of fangirls. Like a rooster among hens, he had his pick of the flock. Meanwhile, she was as undesirable as a rotten egg.
“Why that no good, two timing, peacocking, tail chasing varmint. Who does he think he is replacing me? And after all we’ve been through?”
“It’s still not too late, Dix. I can call up a personal trainer and you’ll be in shape in no time.”
Dixie pondered only for a moment before a sinister-crooked smile stretched across her face from ear to ear. “No, I got me a better idea. It’s like you said Zelda, he might be able to replace me as his mate, but he can’t ever replace me in the band. And if that’s the case, I’m gunna humiliate him every time we go on stage together.”
Zelda grew uneasy watching her friend mischievously rub her paws together. “Let's not do anything crazy. I’ll just get you a trainer and everything will be fine.”
“Oh no, this is much too perfect to pass up.” The saluki licked her chops. Jumping down from the seat, she strutted to the front door of the bus, with Zelda trailing behind her. “If Cash feels I got too much hay in the barn, I’ll show him something to make his fur completely fall off.”

A few blocks down from the auditorium, Dixie made her way toward a small plaza she noticed on the drive over. The town had a relatively small community, making the walk over a peaceful one with no fan crowding or paparazzi blinding her with their constant pictures. The scenery was tranquil compared to the hustle of the big city. A chorus of crickets chirped in the tall grass as fireflies lit her way down the sidewalk. Moths beat their wings against the bulbs of every lamp post, and the freshness of the night air was devoid of the mustiness of smog. Regardless of her reason for doing so, it truly was a nice night for a walk.
As they neared their destination, the juicy aroma of seared beef permeated the night air. The shabby little burger restaurant was privately owned, not belonging to any major corporation, just how Dixie preferred it. These humble abodes, no matter which town or city she’d find them, produced the plumpest burgers with generous portions of side orders. Her stomach rumbled at the logo hanging above the building, a double cheeseburger with an angelic halo hovering above it. It felt like an appropriate image, as Dixie expected it to be one heavenly night.
The inside of the restaurant was just a small collection of tables and chairs, with the kitchen in full view just behind the cash counter. Two pairs of canines ate at tables on opposite ends of the restaurant, while two employees, a female collie and a male lab, chatted with each other before noticing Dixie. Immediately recognizing her, they fumbled around with their menu and spatula. The collie’s cheeks flushed a bright red as the saluki approached her.
“Oh my gosh, Ms. Dixie of the Singin’ Strays,” said the collie, giddily shaking, “we’re such huge fans of yours.”
“H-huge fans,” said the lab, “we listen to your music all the time.”
Dixie pushed back her headfur, “you’re all too kind. Pleased to meet you Ms.?”
“Colleen,” the two shook paws, “and this is Mordecai.”
“Howdy.”
“Goodness, I can’t believe you’re actually here, of all places.”
“Well,” said Dixie, “I saw this place when I pulled up into town and it immediately caught my attention. And I’m glad it did, because after a night of hootin’ and hollerin’, I’m hankerin’ to bite into something thick and juicy.”
“Well you’ve come to the right place ma’am,” the lab twirled his spatula, “best darn burgers in town right here. What’re you hungry for?”
Dixie licked her chops; her belly gurgling as the image of her meal formed in her mind. “Give me a double bacon cheeseburger, a chili dog, two orders of large fries and onion rings, and a jumbo chocolate shake.”
Colleen wrote down the order and handed it to the lab. “Fantastic choice, Ms. Dixie. Help yourself to a seat, we’ll have the food ready for you and your friend right away.”
Dixie thanked them both before seating herself at the center of the restaurant. Zelda sat across from her, resting her cheek on a paw with an irritated look on her face. “What are you doing, Dix? You know I’m not here to actually eat anything. There are plenty of other ways to get back at Cash without you turning yourself into a hog.”
“Don’t you get it Zelda? This is poetic justice. If he already sees me like a hog, then he’ll have to sing alongside a hog. Serenading me with all of our lovey dovey duets, it’s perfect. I don’t care what any pap writes about me, so long as I get to embarrass Cash in the process.”
Her scheme appeared so clever in her mind, but it wasn’t without its ulterior motives. While Dixie devilishly grinned on the outside, her heart raced, filled with fervent excitement like a child opening their Christmas presents. The guilty pleasure she felt from eating her snacks had now increased tenfold; her footpaw anxiously tapped while waiting for her food to arrive. Zelda was correct, she didn’t have to compromise her figure just to get back at Cash. But the situation provided the perfect excuse and opportunity to do what she could only dream of until now. Her joy of culinary indulgence could finally be let off the leash.
The food arrived faster than she had expected; no doubt Mordecai’s elation with her being there helped with his pace. Colleen set the food on the table and wished her a good meal. Tongue dripping with saliva, the steam of the hot food warmed the fur on her face. She drew the plates closer to her, wryly smiling while checking if the other customers were staring at her. Eye’s sparkling with covetous glee, it was almost hard to imagine all this food was solely for her.
Biting into the burger, Dixie sighed with bliss as its fatty juices bathed her tongue. Her ears twiced at the crunch of the bacon and lettuce grinding under her teeth. The oozing mixture of cheddar and swiss cheese slices, lathered with ketchup, mayo, and signature sauce, caressed her taste buds like a veteran masseuse. She took another generous bite, filling her cheeks with meat, cheese, bread and veggies all culminated into an orchestra of premium fast food cuisine. Swallowing her food, she couldn’t help but murmur her praise. To her, there was nothing quite like the decadence of a good burger.
“*Mmm*, Zelda. You have to try this, *mmff*. Its-sho-good, *ulp*.”
Zelda watched in disgust as grease dripped down the corners of Dixie's lips. “I’ll pass, thanks.”
Finishing her burger, she licked her digits of any remaining grease. Though it didn’t compare to the burger, her chili dog was still delicious, especially when topping it with some fries. She washed it down with her milkshake, along with the rest of her fries and onion rings, dipping them in cups of ketchup and ranch dressing. Once finished, she picked up her orb of a belly with both paws, patting it with satisfaction.
“*Orp*, well, that felt great. I don’t think my stomach’s ever felt so well fed.”
“Great,” said Zelda, “can we go now?”
“Go? I came here to eat, not just leave after one meal. Besides, I’m not nearly big enough to teach Cash his lesson.”
Catching Dixie waving over to her, Colleen returned to her table. “That was quick. You enjoyed your meal Ms. Dixie?”
“Best burger I’ve ever had. Which is why I can’t settle with only having one. Hand me that menu will you, sugar?” Her eyes bulged as she briefly skimmed through her options. “Okay. Give me the same order as before, but this time double it. Also, give me two double cheeseburgers with avocado, two with mustard, five more chili dogs, two chicken sandwiches, a side of zucchini sticks, and four more jumbo shakes; two of them vanilla and two of them strawberry. That’ll be all.”
Colleen accepted back the menu, nervously grinning. “Oh-er-you expecting company?”
“No I am not, it’s just me and Zelda. But don’t worry, she ain’t really hungry.”
The collie awkwardly stood around, pondering Dixie’s massive order before giving up and returning back to Mordecai. Zelda scowled back at the saluki, but knew no amount of disauding would get between Dixie and her food. Her friend passed the time by smacking her drum-like belly with her bare paw, mesmerized by how it bounced upon impact. The nurturing look in her eye and smile on her face unsettled her. She was certainly enjoying this far too much.
Colleen made multiple trips from the counter to Dixie’s table, growing increasingly unnerved by Dixie’s mirthful gorging. The saluki became a different canine than the elegant star she portrayed on stage. With a burger in one paw and chili dog in the other, she took prodigious bites between the two, barely chewing them before taking a hefty gulp. She shoved the remains in her mouth, packing them in with fries and onion rings till her cheeks became bloated. All the while Dixie giggled, glutting down as much as she liked and having the time of her life.
Stuffing herself with a plethora of food pleasured Dixie in a way indulging in snacks never had. The pleasure was still there, along with eating what she liked without restriction; yet, cakes and snacks were never in such large quantities that would cause her to become “filled.” There was an odd ecstasy and sense of reward in how stuffed her stomach felt. Each new burger and pawful of fries helped her to reach new heights of gluttony, stretching her gut beyond what she thought herself capable of. It all felt so natural, overindulging herself to her heart’s content, while curiously exploring just how far she could go.
Halfway done with her feast, its effects began taking form. Her haunches grew thicker, spilling over the edges of her seat. Her engorged belly hung below the chair and under the table. Plump-squishable curves formed around her waist, rounding down to her widening hips. Her once slender face rounded out with puffy cheeks and a newly formed second chin. Too absorbed in her meal, she remained oblivious to the change.
All eyes in the restaurant were on the gluttonous saluki. The four customers and Colleen grimaced as they watched her stuff her paws in her own mouth just to push the food down. Even Zelda was taken aback by this new side of her friend. She recoiled each time a drop of mustard or ketchup splattered on her side of the table, and growled as her gassy belches caused her whiskers and nose to curl. Looking away proved useless, as her incessant munch and gulping provided an abominable ambiance.
Drowning her gullet with the last of her shakes, Dixie groaned in triumph. She tilted her head back, belching and grunting having finally finished her feast. Her forelegs hung limp at her side, hindlegs dangling off the chair and outspread. Her belly had swollen to the size of a well fed hog. Burbling and glorping, she rested her paws atop of it, tenderly caressing it like a loving mother. When she noticed some of the other customers watching, she wryly smiled, belched in their direction and gave it a hearty smack. Disgusted by her overly bloated appearance, they abandoned their food, promptly leaving out the door.
“*Ooogh*, golly, I’m so, *bwooorp*, stuffed,” Dixie sighed. “Would you just, *hic*, look at all that belly? I feel like, *uuurp*, I’ve eaten a whole calf.”
Zelda looked away, “I hope you’re proud of yourself. Your good looks are as good as gone now. Now you’re just another fat canine.”
“Honestly, *hic*, I can live with that. Heck, I’m enjoying myself.” Dixie lifted as much of her belly as she could, feeling it pour over her forelegs. Wobbling it about, her cheeks flushed a bright red, feeling her indigested gorge dance around in her gut as if having their very own hoedown. “*Mmff*, I love eating. I love being fat. And I still want, *hic*, so much more…*hmmff*.”
Colleen returned to the table, anxiously looking over all the empty plates Dixie had picked clean of any crumbs or condiments. “Will that be all for you this evening, Ms. Dixie?”
“Colleen honey,” Dixie leaned on the table, “give me one of everything on the menu.”
“W-w-what?”
“Scratch that, give me, *hic*, two of everything. And make all the drinks and side orders large as well. I don’t want to leave this restaurant until I’m dragging myself out that door.”
“M-m-ms. Dixie, t-t-that’s a lot of f-f-food.”
Dixie smirked, heartily patting the side of her gut with a paw. “I think I can handle it. And if I can’t, I’ll of course still pay yall for your trouble.”
Colleen wrote down her order and returned to the kitchen, where she could hear Mordecai hooting with uproarious laughter. Dixie continued playfully smacking her belly. Its squelching and sloshing was as pleasant to her ears as birdsong or trickling rain. The thought of it packed with double the menu’s worth of food caused a shiver to run down her spine. She was unsure if she’d be able to finish it all, but so long as she remained conscious, she was excited to try.
Both the collie and lab trollied out the first portion of Dixie’s final feast, covering the entirety of the table in plates while taking back the empty ones. The saluki looked on in wonderment, never having seen such a plethora of fast food, all for her. There were a variety of burgers, from single patties, to doubles, and triples; some even had multiple cheeses or no cheese at all. There were chicken sandwiches, some with cheesy macaroni or shrimp. Lastly, there were a variety of sliced sandwiches, from bacon, ham, eggs, and salami.
Dixie wasted no time in greedily shoving as much food as she could in her maw, not bothering to chew a single thing. Her paws pushed anything they could fit between her cheeks, filling in every inch of space. Food pushed against the roof of her mouth and pinned down her tongue. The amalgamation of meat, cheese, veggies and bread formed such a large glob that she was incapable of closing her mouth. With both paws, she attempted to push it toward the back of her throat, feeling it bulging out her gullet as if trying to swallow a bowling ball. She winced with pain, eyes shut as she patted the orb to go down. Landing in her belly with a sickening glorp, she exerted a laborious groan before doing it once more.
The saluki became fully immersed in her gluttony, shutting out all other sites and sounds, including Zelda, whose muffled voice of concerns were drowned out by munching and gulping. The pleasure of the feast was more intoxicating than the love she’d feel performing on stage while hearing the crowds chant her name. Glutting herself brought a sort of comforting freedom with it, a certain awakening, as if for the first time, something within herself was finally set free. With each heaping portion of food she swallowed, she grew more enamored with her new hedonistic self. Whether it bothered Cash or not, she no longer considered.
Scarfing down the last of her sandwiches, Dixie groaned as her stretching stomach prodded deeper into the table. Feeling her hips grow a little too snug in her small chair, she decided to get down. As she carefully slid off, she grunted as the weight of her overgorged stomach plopped onto the floor with a loud blorp. She sat herself upright, her chest now at length with the table top. Tapping her chin, she couldn’t recall whether or not she was this tall before.
Glutting her way through the breakfast and side dishes, she managed to gorge herself for over an hour. As her stomach diligently attempted to digest all she fed it, the rest of her body continued to swell. The burgers made a massive impact on her hips and thighs, growing chunky enough to each fit a chair. Her pillowy forelegs have plumped as large as honey roasted hams, dwarfing the size of her dainty paws. The broadness of her back curved down to her luscious love handles, forming a shelf of lower back pudge that held up a layer of back rolls.
Pouring the last of the milkshakes and soft drinks down her gullet, Dixie moaned with triumph, having successfully polished off the entire menu. Groaning as she straightened her back, the weight of her massive belly fully dawned on her. It squished against her haunches, stretching several feet outward and rounding up to her plush chest. Feeling overfed and overgorged many times over, she hefted as much of it as she could in her paws, groaning from the slightest amount of pressure she gave it.
“*Hic-hilp*, tarnation, Zelda. *Ooogh*, I’m, *bwooorp*, so full. I feel like, *huff*, I’m on the verge, *hic-hilp*, of bursting.”
Zelda hardly recognized her friend, barely able to see her muzzle peeking out over her enormous gut. “Goodness, Dix. Haven’t you had enough? You’re as big as a horse that just broke into the feed shed. Ain’t that enough to teach Cash a lesson?”
“Cash?” Dixie dopily stared into space, trying to make sense of Zelda’s point. “Oh, *hic-hilp*, right-Cash, hehe. This was, *mmff*, all for him after all. Until I made it, *nnff*, all for me. I swear, that mutt makes me do, *hic-hilp*, the darndest things.”
“You’ve done what you came here to do. Let’s just cancel ordering the whole menu again and head on back. What do you say?”
Dixie looked down at her bubbling gut for answers. Suddenly, a commotion erupted from the pit of her stomach, making its way up her chest. Holding her mouth shut with both paws, the pressure rose up her throat, pushing her paws apart as she let loose a massive belch. Resting her paws atop of her gut, she noticed an inkling of space having just freed itself up.
“Actually,” the saluki kneaded her belly, “I think I can go for just a little bit more.”
After a couple hours of filling her cheeks to the brim, Dixie grew more capable of fitting more food in her mouth once the second round of food arrived. Each new mouthful she swallowed landed in her gut like a cannonball, causing waves of her indigested gorge to crash against the inner lining of her stomach. She pitifully groaned as a result, barely giving her stomach enough time to settle before eating her next portion. Still, there was a guilty sense of pleasure that went with the pain. Bloating an inch wider by the minute, the amount of fat she’d put on after digesting will be well worth the strain.
A quarter way through the menu, her belly barred her from reaching the table. Standing herself upright, it brushed upon the floor, squishing against her limbs. She couldn’t help but crookedly smile, flustered how it squished against her legs and was wider than the table itself. Blorping as it dragged along, she ate the rest of her food muzzle first; her face digging into piles of fries, onion rings and chicken tenders.
With her paws free, Dixie gathered up the rest of her food onto one plate. The mountain she formed stood two heads taller than her. She ate from the bottom, lapping up anything that tumbled its way down from the top. Once the food ended up clogging the back of her throat, she’d pour in her mouth multiple shakes and drinks, softening the food and allowing her to swallow it all down before returning to the pile.
Finishing the pile left the saluki in such a woozy state. Moaning and hiccuping, she felt the extent of her gorge building up to her chest. She contemplated ending her feast then and there, until her dazed vision caught Colleen making her way over with something. It was huge by the look of it, so much so that the collie appeared as thin as a sapling just standing behind it. Seeing it placed down in front of her, she rubbed her eyes, amazed by the massive burger loaded with an enormous beef patty, various slices of meat, fries and shrimps, sitting in front of her.
“Mordecai wanted you to have this,” Colleen wryly smiled. “We used to have this promotion in the past called, ‘The Mammoth Burger,’ where if a customer were able to eat the whole thing, they’d get their meal free of charge and have their name and photo put up on our wall; but nobody ever finished it, so we removed it. But Mordecai always kept a fresh set of mammoth buns around just in case. This one is bigger than how he usually makes it, since it’s loaded with some of the second batch of your order.”
Dixie clutched her stomach, feebly groaning as it gurgled up a storm. Regardless of its protests, against her better judgment, she’d hate to disappoint one of her fans. “*Hnng*, I love that dog, *hic-hilp*.”
Pulling the giant plate toward her, she gulped as it was half the table’s size. Gripping what she could from its sides, she opened her maw as wide as possible and took her first bite. Gradually pushing it in, the fatty juices from the patty gushed down her gullet. Trickling debris of fries and shrimp went down the hatch before the entirety of her mouth became filled up. Her jaws painfully stretched the further she ate. Even muffling was difficult with the entirety of her throat feeling as if a beach ball had inflated inside it.
She swallowed the burger one arduous inch at a time, carefully keeping the plethora of morsels from seeping out of the buns. Halfway through, she felt the bulbous lump in her throat pressuring her chest. As the front of the burger added to the weight of her stomach, the strain of it caused her to squeal. But Dixie fought onward, pushing the rest of the burger down her gullet and taking one last arduous gulp.
The impact of the burger felt like somebody uppercutting her stomach from the inside. Her belly bloated a foot forward, pushing the table further away. The violent entry suddenly knocked her over with a thunderous symphony of sloshing. She landed on her back, whining from the pain of her stomach’s uproarious churning. The saluki winced her eyes, wearing a sloppy grin; agonizing was her victory, but it was a victory nonetheless.
“Sweet heavens,” Colleen came to her side, “are you alright, Ms. Dixie? I’ll get Mordecai to help you up.”
“No, *hic-hilp*, no need, *oof*, sugar.” Dixie put her paws on her jostling belly, trying to calm it down. “Just let me, *uurg*, rest here, *hic-hilp*, for a little bit. That was, *aaugh*, a…mighty fine…burger. But I think, *hic-hilp*, that’ll be it for…me…this, *buuuraaap*, evening.”
Colleen blew a sigh of relief. “Thank goodness. I was worried we’d have to get an ambulance for you or something. I’ll tell Mordecai to cancel the second half of your order.”
“Actually, *hic-hilp*, can I get it to go? Zelda has my card, she’ll take care of the bill.”
The collie watched Dixie in dumbfounded amazement as she rocked her swollen cider barrel of a belly like a cradle. Dixie smirked back, murmuring with both pleasure and discomfort in her voice. Winking back at Collen, she slammed her paw onto her belly three times.
“It’s a long drive to the next concert.”

Two hours after her gorge and plenty of belly rubs later, Dixie was finally capable of turning an inch without feeling like her insides were tying in a knot. With help from Colleen and Mordecai, she rolled back to a standing position, her legs wobbly from how much weight they were forced to lug around. She thanked the two for the wonderful evening, but not without taking a photo first as the first mammoth burger challenge winner. Though out of courtesy to Dixie, it wouldn’t appear on any wall just yet; not at least until she grew more comfortable with her weight gain becoming more publicly known.
The walk back to the bus was a grueling affair. The weight of her globular stomach was a lot for her small footpaws to bear. Each of her hiccups would jiggle her bloated body, causing her gorge to uncomfortably churn. Huffing and puffing, she moaned with relief as the bus came into view. After such a decadent night of overeating, she wanted nothing more than to plop herself onto her bed and hibernate till their tour came to an end.
Grunting and groaning, Dixie wiggled her way through the front doors of the bus; the mass of her belly compressed within the tight space, pooling her fat around her limbs and the back of her head. Lumbering toward the back, her nose suddenly picked up a familiar scent. Picking her head up, she watched as Cash exited the bus’ bathroom.
The Spanish hound froze in place, trying to make sense of who or what was this hulking behemoth in front of him. “I-is that you, darlin’?”
Dixie sneered back, attempting to stand herself upright to appear regal. “In the fur. Hope you had a good time, *hic-hilp*, with all your groupies, hun. No doubt you enjoyed all them, *hic-hilp*, lean as reeds mutts all flaunting their, *bworp*, tails for you. But don’t worry, I got your message from Lyle and went out to dinner, *hic-hilp*, without you.”
“Is that what you think I was doing? Dixie, honey, it was just a couple of autographs. Not five minutes after I gave Lyle that message I rushed back here to try and catch you but you were already gone.”
“You expect me to wait around for you while I’m sitting here starving? While you were gawking at other gals for five minutes, I’ve spent the last few hours having the gorging, *hic-hilp*, of a lifetime.”
“I can see that,” Cash smirked, “were you any bigger we’d have to attach a horse trailer to this bus just for you, hehe. How’d you manage to get so huge anyway?”
“Oh, it was, *hic-hilp*, wonderful. No matter how much I packed into my stomach, *hilp*, I just kept wanting more. It felt like a dream, stuffing my face with burgers, fries and shakes galore, it was so much fun. After tonight, I’m convinced there ain’t nothing my stomach can’t handle. I might be as, *hic-hilp*, thick as a heifer, but I feel like a whole new canine.”
Walking past Cash, Dixie pressed the side of her gut against him, squishing him against the bathroom door. “So you better, *hic-hilp*, get used to singing with all this on stage. Cuz you’re gunna see a whole lot more of it in the future.”
Giving Cash and extra squeeze, she released him and crawled onto her bed at the back of the bus, rolling over on her back. Murmuring with bliss as she kneaded and patted her belly, she smirked back at Cash whom she expected to scowl back in disapproval. She was instead unnerved by his calm disposition; his almond eyes piercing into her like a hound coveting a slab of meat.
“You know darlin,” said Cash, “I was wondering how it’d take you a couple years to get to this size after how much snacking you’ve been doing lately. But imagine my surprise when you’ve done it all in one night.”
Dixie’s fur stood up as Cash hopped onto the bed, placing a broad paw on her gut with some pressure. “W-what are you doing?”
Cash produced a toothy grin, “just listen to all that gurgling. This thing is restless. We ought to settle it down a bit, don’t you think?”
The saluki blushed as Cash placed his other paw on her gut, kneading it in circular motions with enough pressure to feel her gorge rub against her innards. She bit her lip, filled with pleasure by the massage but perplexed by why it was happening to begin with. “C-Cash, s-stop it, *hmmf*. W-what are you, *hilp*, doing?”
“What’s wrong, Dixie? You know you enjoy this, don’t deny it.”
“Y-yes, *hnng*, b-but…you’re not supposed to. You’re supposed to, *hic-hilp*, be embarrassed, *huff*, or upset. Not here, *orp*, playing with my…stomach.”
“Oh, Darlin. You got me all wrong. You think it was fans always sending you all them snacks? I knew how much of a glutton gal you were, and now you’ve finally cut yourself loose.” Cash patted her sloshing belly. “I never intended to replace you, Dixie. Not when you were as slim as a carrot, and certainly not when you were chubbing up. And now that you’ve gotten this big, there ain’t no way I’m keeping my paws off you.”
As Cash continued to handle her belly, Dixie couldn’t help but wryly smile. Her animosity toward Cash had melted faster than a slice of cheese on a grilled beef patty. Having now discovered this new passion for gluttony and being fat, it felt good to have someone who supported it. In the coming future when Cash’s horse trailer joke would become a reality, it’ll be nice to have him appreciate the parts of her blubbery body where her own paws couldn’t reach.
“You know,” said Cash, “I still haven’t eaten anything, cuz I was kinda hoping you’d get something with me when you got back.”
“*Hic-hilp*, I got you covered. Think she should be arriving any minute now.”
“Uh, who should be arriving?”
Looking to the front of the bus, the gray furred rear of Zelda walked up the steps. She grunted with exertion, pulling along an enormous plastic bag filled with styrofoam boxes of food with just her teeth. Gulping, Cash turned her attention back to Dixie, who bashfully fluffed up her head fur.
“Hehe, *hic-hilp*, hope you don’t mind having breakfast so late.”

Eh, at the end of the story, in my mind at least, she's a tid bit smaller x3. I've had this Dixie art shared with me quite a bit; kinda wish the artist did more, especially with Georgette and Honey.

A fun story. But I do wish we got to see Dixie after all that food digested and turned to fat. It gets mentioned throughout the story, so I felt like you were building up to it. Still, I enjoyed reading it!
