Exactly. If you have an issue with the ticket or the officer, take it up with a judge. The road is not the place to solve an unnecessary dispute.

You nailed the title on this one, it’s definitely up there on the annoying scale. I would have arrested her for DWLS and Obstruction, both are still Misdemeanors here in Michigan and we have “Officer Discretion” wether to cite or arrest. Then I would have stroked her biscuits for the seatbelt violation and anything else I could find, I don’t believe she provided a registration or proof of insurance either. I would prefer inconveniencing her for a few hours and the paperwork vs. writing her tickets and releasing after listening to her mouth run for 15 minutes.
Why do people act so stupid when they are stopped?? Stay calm and do not escalate the situation. I would have loved to see her push her car, too.
