Season 4 consists of two parts (9 total episodes): Season 4 Part 1 (7 episodes) Season 4 Part 2 (2 episodes) And they recently announced there will be a season 5, even though season 4 was supposed to be the last. "The Duffers revealed that the end of Stranger Things is in their sights. While they had too much story left to just wrap everything up in Season 4—hence the supersizing of the season—things would be coming to a close with Season 5."
