Thank you for creating the Patreon options. It gives me a chance to show my gratitude. My mum and I are strictly "superfans" and even though we are hundreds of miles apart we always "watch together" and Sunday morning I call her to tell her the spoiler. You have no idea how much it means to us both. My mum suffered a significant stroke and it was touch and go and things didn't look good but I knew I'd got her back when (on a Wednesday) the first thing she asked me was "is the spoiler thing up yet". Her brain was still muddled but that was a "touchpoint" in her week... she loved feeling like she knew a secret (if only for few hours) and it clearly had resonated with her on a deeper level than I had ever imagined - because it was only after I'd told her "yes" and given the result that she asked "how's Dad doing". We laugh about it now - and Mum is home and doing well and watching this season of Strictly and we are on the phone for the whole of the show and in a few minutes I will ring her with the "Spoiler". My dad isn't a "Strictly" viewer but even he has a soft spot for your "Spoiler" because, at the point that Mum asked me for the information, we knew that the brain damage was "do-able"... and that has absolutely proved to be the case. I know a lot of people think the spoiler is a bit of "strictly fun" and support you because that's exactly what it is... but for me and my family... it became a heck of a whole lot more... and will always be a proper "point in time" in our lives and I will always be grateful that you set it up. Thank you so much - and I hope you get the support you deserve. It's brilliant. Nx
