Thanks! A few things come to mind: I think that the series does a much better job of building sexual tension than some of my other stories. Partly that's because it's longer, so there's more space to do that, but I think I've just gotten better at pacing and plotting over time, and I'd like to continue that. It also forced me to think a little more about the arc of the story over each chapter, obviously I cover a few things I'd do differently in the post, but here's another: the next time I write this type of story, I think I'll do a little more establishing of the D&D setting and the relationships between the D&D characters they're all playing. I feel like I did a little of that here (Enna's flirtatious and kind of horny; Lucia's more serious, etc.) but the fact that I started w/Monica as the focus and expanded to Chris's friends meant that I didn't do nearly as much as I could've to make them interesting. What if Enna had stolen a lover from Lucia, making their dynamic a little jealous and competitive (maybe mirroring Liz's in-real-life competitiveness)? What if Lucia and Meldrin had a brief fling even though Liz and Mike haven't? Etc.

Congratulations on completing this behemoth JF! The love and soul you put into this shows, and the last chapter felt like a grand event. My question is how do you feel you’ve grown as a writer through this series? Is there anything in particular you feel you have learned and will do differently in the future?

I'm definitely open to cruel endings in general, and will certainly write some of those going forward; as you say, I've written them in the past and I think they can be hot. But I do like some variety. For this ending in particular, I considered it -- I had a whole version mapped out where Monica won, thoroughly and completely. You can imagine how she might turn Liz's competitive personality against Erin, corrupt Chris, and convince Fiona that siding with her would be more fun than siding with the group. But it was hard to imagine the group getting back together to play again after that. If the series had gone on longer I might've been okay with that, but where I left things, I really feel like there's more to explore here -- I think the Mike/Fiona dynamic has more legs, that Liz and Erin are underexplored, and I think Monica as a player -- a resentful Monica, who 'lost' last campaign and is determined to get some * revenge* -- has a lot of potential to explore as well. :)

I don't know if this is more of a question regarding your writing generally, as well as what I've enjoyed so apologies if it's out of the scope! Did you ever consider going a bit crueller with the ending potentially? Personally I'm a fan of the way stuff like the summer series ended with the more mean one, as well as in this story when Mike turned against the group. Would you be willing to go more firmly in that direction for the future?
