Of Birds and Tea (sketch)
🕑 Added 2018-01-17 02:19:08 +0000 UTC I've missed the autumn, and wanted to draw a full image of Chime at her little makeshift scatterboard hut near the hollow town of Blackpine, taking in one of the few lovely parts of living in 'the sorrow' that is the dark-touched areas from Whiterook. The tea itself is a survival technique. It keeps the eyes of the Lycan from her. It also makes her susceptible to injury, and visions brought by interrupted sleep.
But Shadowbark tastes lovely enough, if bitter, and when one can't fly for fear of the shades in the sky and trees, you take in the brief peace while you can.

These are all places i wish I could go hide out in. Even the little huts with tiny-fireplaces. :)

Wow. Sounds like a tough life. Glad she's got protection and can deal with it. Love the setting and the perspective of the piece. Very cool. Thank you for posting.

I really enjoy your characters and seeing them come to life. But I also really dig your settings. They're so inviting I often find myself wishing I could escape there myself.
