Mint Chok-lit (Flats and Inkwash)
🕑 Added 2019-12-21 01:31:40 +0000 UTCI'm not too certain that I'll get this image done in time for Christmas, but so far its progressing along nicely. I struggled to get the colour palette to that 'cold evening' but I think at least at this stage its working and at a fairly uniform saturation.
I added in a quick series of where I want the lights in the windows to be, as well as a snow overlay. The signs are going to be done separately and placed later, so the placeholders are still there.
There is also a birb.
Hoping to at least get a nearly complete bit of this done before Xmas, but if I don't, I do hope all of you have a really good holiday. Its been a hell of a year for so many folks, so I'm wishing you all peace until 2020 kicks the door in and starts throwing bolwing balls around.

The expression on the ladies' faces says it all! Especially the rapture the Bear is is enjoying. Stocking up on Mint Chok-lit, now... You've whipped the tree into shape and the lights aren't too obtrusive. A sound success so far, I'd say.

Awww. I'd say you really captured that cool winter night feel with this one. Nothing like a hot mug of mint chocolate to warm up friends and loved ones. Love the muted, muddled quite of the piece. I know many artist that would consider this done. I hope you holiday season goes well and you have a kickass 2020. Here's to a better year.
