The title is a bit of a 'nerd joke' pointing at kobolds being a fairly weak encounter in D&D, meaning 8 of them could equal up to a grown man with a pitch fork, and would probably still lose.
I've finally managed to start shaking the flu. It turns out that flu's can lead to weird infections, but I'm at least now on antibiotics and have way, way too much energy after a full week of laying around wanting the universe to just finish me already :P
This was done as a series of warm up sketches. I'm working on the patron sketch for the next project, and I find these rough drawings help me get back into figuring out anatomy and flow and posing. Especially after a full week of not even being able to sit at the work-station for more than a dozen minutes.
I've tentatively named the kobold from the previous drawings 'Hyrahitti. A slight bastardization on Hyr Hitti which is, I believe, an old Norse word for great fire or 'bonfire' of some description. Given that she's from North Valhaadrune it felt a bit fitting.
She may not be terrifying, and sure, house-pets could probably end her in one swipe, but she's got a lot of heart..
...Well, she'll try to stay alive to tell her story, at least.

Strictly a computer gamer since the 80s, I never knew anyone who played DnD, so I was never exposed to it and of course didn't know that the hell a kobold even was. Then the kobold porn started to invade FA. Now I know too much. LOL
