Cursed Affection Episode 2 - Status Update
🕑 Added 2024-09-04 06:53:31 +0000 UTCSo far work is going pretty good on Cursed Affection Episode 2, there is still an animation set to be rendered and that will take some time but the ETA is still somewhere around the 10th, give or take a couple of days. This Episode will answer some questions but raise new ones, as well as introduce you to a couple of new characters which you can get close to. It's going to be a really interesting and attractive Episode, there are a lot of things going on related to the whole mystery part of the game.
I don't want to give out any spoilers, at least not yet. More info will come in the release post in about a week!

The idea behind the sex scenes is for you to play them as you want, you can go through all of them or just two of your favorite positions and that's it. There's no "magic formula" that pleases everyone, there are pros and cons for both ways of doing things. Cursed Affection is going to have this formula for the main girls at least. As for getting romantically involved with other girls, that will again be your choice if you want to do it or not but that's the thing about choices, right? They should matter and they should have an impact, otherwise what good are they?

I've played Ep1 and I've gotta say I enjoyed it. Especially the atmosphere of mystery and the fact that it seems completely different than Erotica (from setting to the story). The thing I didn't enjoy (and I din't like it in Erotica closing scenes too) is lewd scenes. Now for me it's minor cuz' I wanna good story but still it's part of AVN. On the plus side of this, there are a lot of choices and it's nice but the implementation is bad. It's like the game within the game (like an online sex sim within the actual game) the big UI on the screen all the clicking "return", "finish" buttons. It's like when the lewd scene starts you're transported into a different game and than when it ends you're back, it strange it completely breaks the immersion it becomes unrealistic on multiple levels, like in example there's zero communication during scene between protagonists, sure people don't talk during sex but like zero words spoken, like dolls having sex, like some sort of machines. If the implementation was seamless I can see it working well and adding to the experience but not at its current state. One more small thing I don't like when MC starts in a relationship. It's hard to get involved romantically with other ladies. Unless Jess betrays him or turn out to be a total bitch it's gonna be strange but maybe that's just me.
