Occasionally jewelry or an article of clothes does survive. It all has to do with the amount of positive emotion pushed into an item.

I really am curious about how those stakes don't dust if they're left in a vampire when it's killed. Is it a level of craft thing, or an aspect of material quality? I mean...stakes of ANY quality won't dust if they're jabbed into the heart and pulled out again before the vampire finally kicks the bucket completely, but what could be done to wood that makes it invulnerable to the vampire disintegrating that haven't been done to clothes or jewelry?

Love the Bob's Burger bit. Can easily imagine the kids looking like they're hopped up on sugar when he's giving his stories to them. Even more so when they hear about the costume and can't wait to see it.
