We got ourselves a team expansion set! (aka. new team members)

Cres and I have been working on expanding the team the last couple months.
Since we value transparency, we thought it would be a good idea to fill you in on the details.
After having selected a handful of individuals, we decided to pay each of them 1000 $ per month as part time employment.
We plan to expand this to full time employment if the rest of the year as well as upcoming game sales are going well.
(yeah we got a bunch of things planned with this expanded team, but I'll cover that in another post)
To sum our team expansion up in a few words:
BladeFire is now also taking care of programming.
Boxman joined us as pixel artist.
Zhuan is working for us as writer.
Regris now works with us in marketing and PR.
Now, some of you might ask how we manage to pay out this much money with a Patreon of the current size of roughly 3500 $?
The answer to this question is simple:
We're using our own private money to finance this expansion.
We managed to save up a bunch of money via doing commissions in the past, and also got some "investment" from our family.
Because our living costs are already covered, we decided to best use this money on expanding the team, so we can get more content out to you faster.
There's no need to worry about the increased monthly costs on our end btw.
We really calculated this through multiple times and we can keep the expenses up until we finished multiple side projects.
Future Patreon increases as well as sales of side projects should cover these expenses eventually, and enable us to even increase payment of our teammembers.
(we adjust the current milestone on Patreon from 5000 $ to 6000 $ so it's according to these changes in the team structure)
This team expansion also helps me (Wolf) to get a bit more free time, so I don't burn out too fast.
As well as focusing my efforts on team leading, project planning, taking care of the community and fanbase (that's you guys!) and working on the characters and their stories which all of you love so much.

and here i am still remembering the early days when the Deathblight comic started out in black and white and Patreon only just launched. Way to go Cres and Wolf, it's been a long time coming from your humble beginnings on here, good work so far and looking forward to what's next

yes, we are still working on Deathblight RPG. There are overall 4 CGs for the job for Ferania. 1 is done, 2 and 3 have the base CG coloured (which mean now only the varriations are missing) and 4 needs to get started still. no worries^^ it's all seperated cathegories. I still do the art (except pixel art in which I was mediocre anyways) and Wolf still leads the team.
