Unreal Engine Helicopter Flying - Dust Cloud with Niagara
🕑 Added 2021-10-17 09:58:18 +0000 UTCThis is the 3rd part of unreal engine helicopter flying system I am working on. Here I am going to work on the dust cloud formation of the landing/take off zone of the helicopter. When the helicopter blades rotate fast, it causes a massive air flow and this causes the dust and everything to move fast around the helicopter. Specially when the helicopter is near ground, we can see this effect clearly with the dust cloud formed around the helicopter. We will create this dust cloud using unreal Niagara effects system and activate and deactivate dynamically as the helicopter move close and move away from ground.

Sorry, hope didn't sound harsh last night. I've managed to transfer the assets over to my working project. The method I used is 'Migrate' - works a treat. Nick

So, the approach I've taken is to down the source from session 15, and then I will hope to export the assets I require from this source. This, I believe is NOT the way to do a tutorial, but will suffice for now. Nick

Hi, I've just completed parts 1 &2 of this tutorial and would like to continue to part 3. But I can't find any way to import the 'dust cloud' into my project. For what I can ascertain from the web there is no easy way to add these items in.
