Advanced Locomotion System - Weapon Integration
🕑 Added 2022-01-11 05:37:58 +0000 UTCIn this unreal engine tutorial, I am going to integrate the M16 rifle with into the advanced locomotion system freely available in the unreal engine marketplace. The m16 rifle is a part of the weapons system I have implemented in the third-person shooter series and this already has weapon damage, hud, and shooting capabilities. In the future, I will integrate all the different weapons i have implemented in my TPS series including pistols, RPGs, snipers, machine guns, and flamethrowers.

Hello, I wanted to implement the shooting system in my project, which files do I need to extract?
Thilina Premasiri
I'm sorry, I haven't kept older versions of the project. the UE4 version is the oldest version you can download in this post. https://www.patreon.com/posts/63654325

Hello, I want to follow you from the beginning but after the TPS project so what should I do ?
yousf
ok I am waiting but It's a really nice project. Thank you
Thilina Premasiri
as this is still a work in progress project, I haven't tried to package it yet. So, there can be build errors. But yes, I will try to build myself and make a video.
yousf
Hello, I downloaded the project but it has many error also i can not packaging to pc or android because errores, so if you can fix it and make a video on it, thank you for creating this game
Adi Hermanto
Thanks for the quick reply, I really appreciate it. Hope you can integrate tanks and other vehicles into this project soon. Wish you the best of luck with all your projects. Cheers mate
Thilina Premasiri
i don't have a tank at the moment but i have worked on helicopters up to some level. spawning part is already there, https://youtu.be/rF9AxU0q80I
Adi Hermanto
Great, I will give it a go. Is there also a tutorial on how to integrate vehicles and tanks into this project? Can I also integrate a target point into this project? So instead of spawning in a small area, I can spawn the teams in two different locations and they proceed towards each teams base and attack along the way.
Thilina Premasiri
of course. this episode might give you an idea how to have different meshes.
Adi Hermanto
Great tutorial series! is it possible to spawn other characters such as tanks or vehicles? also is it possible to use different meshes to differentiate between ai teams instead of using colors?
Andy Fleming
Yes, I see that the migration confirmation list includes more than just the WeaponsPack folder (those must be the dependencies you've described). I'll replace the default ALS inputs with the ones listed at the beginning of your ALS Weapon Integration video and try to follow along from there.
Thilina Premasiri
When you migrate guns in bp folder, it will show all the dependencies. You need all of them to work properly
Andy Fleming
I'm also interested in starting from the ALS tutorials. I'm just migrating the WeaponsPack folder to a fresh ALSv4 Project. Do you think this will be sufficient for starting the first ALS tut video or should I migrate additional folders?
NickP
I've downloaded TPS from session 109. Sol I'll add ALS into that, and give it a go. Nick
Thilina Premasiri
then you can download this project and a fresh ALS project from the marketplace link. And integrate guns and other assets from my project as needed
NickP
Thanks, but it also contains the code that you are developing in the sessions. I was looking for a 'starter project' so that I could follow along in the sessions. Nick
Thilina Premasiri
you can download the release in the above project file link
NickP
Hello, so which download of the Third Person Shooter do I require to follow along with this, please? Nick
