Unreal Engine Advanced Team AI - Coordinated Attack - Simultaneous Shooting Control (ALS #51)

Today we are going to do some improvements to the simultaneous shooting control system that controls how many AI characters can shoot simultaneously at a given target when there are multiple AI-driven enemy characters present on the level. This is very important when the player is faced with a large number of opponents, the player should not be overwhelmed and need to have a chance to fight them. But, in the combat system, we have designed, there are multiple teams that can fight each other, not just the player. So, this shoot target control system we implement will make sure even the AI characters are also not overwhelmed. Previously we implemented a way to acquire and release targets when AI characters shoot at a target through the NPC manager. But there are some problems in releasing the lock imposed on the shoot targets. That will be addressed in today's episode..

did you enable rootmotion on any animations by any chance?. Because I have used ALS system as it is without any changes to the movement animations. So, I am not sure what the issue is for you

yer when i go into this project i just run in place and dont move forwards once i have pressed play , i cant figure why i have looked at how the character is set up and it all seems like it should work but i cant move about i just run/Walk in place

hi i have opened the project but i am running in place and cant seem to figure out how to turn root motion off or how to walk forwards and not just walk in place, great channel overall tho keep up the great work
