Unreal Engine 5 Portal Gun - Part 4 - Supported and Unsupported Surface

Basically, you can place portal doors on the walls by shooting the portal gun. From one portal, you can see as you are seeing through the other portal. In this episode, we will look into how to distinguish the surfaces that support placing portals and doesn't support placing surfaces. In portal game, we can place portals only on white concrete like surfaces. That's the same mechanism we are trying to achieve here. Also we will improve the bullet trail and impact effect when we shoot the portal gun.
