Some developer notes:
- The usual Pre-Release suggestion: This version is incredibly raw. There is a ton of balance and things that still need to get refined and done. If you want a more refined experience, come back in a couple weeks. If you want to come try out this hot-off-the-press version, I'd love the help and feedback.
- The game stops at relatively the same point that v0.4.0 stopped. I wanted to work more on "new" content, but lots of other things took priority. This version is wildly different though, so come take a gander.
- Steam pre-release keys are on their way. If you download and use the windows version of itch it'll use the same save as the steam pre-release, so it will be an easy transition.
**v0.5.0 In an nutshell:**
- **Massive balance changes and upgrade changes.** Upgrades have been tuned and refined to focus on impactful effects and less grind. Charm Spells (previously Augment Spells) are now insanely impactful, but far more situational.
- **Reworked spell progression and classification system.** Enjoy casting Diving spells, Conjuration spells, Alteration spells, and more. Master these spell types to create combos that generate an absurd amount of resources or that significantly extend your upgrade reach.
- **New Research Mechanic**, in which it takes time to get certain upgrades. These upgrades allow you to define your playstyle and min/max to even greater degrees.
- **Simplified Artifact System**, in which every artifact can be impactful at every point in the game.
- **Alchemy, Reforged**. Tinker with an entirely new Alchemy system focused on choices, exploration and discovery.
- **And more...** There is so much in this new version, its hard to fit it all into a condensed list like this.

Hmm, I've been playing with that resolution and ya the screen is pretty small on that resolution, but I the UI still seems functional and nothing seems to be cut off. Could you send me a picture of your screen? This would be best via the Discord if you have not joined yet!

2560x1080. I tried switching resolutions, and that works, but when I switch back it resizes, even if it's in windowed mode.

Hey JP, sorry about that! I'm working on getting OoC up to speed with the typical desktop options. What aspect ratio are you on that is not working?

Oh, hey, I just signed up. Tried the 0.5.0 download and it is unplayable because the top of the interface is cut off. I have a widescreen monitor, and the aspect ratio is not configurable, nor is the window mode (alt+enter) resizable. :(

Also, in the alchemy tab, where recipes are listed, the top line has three potions that are hidden behind the image of Recipes with no way to click on them. Also same issue with brewing and transmutation hidden behind the Skills image.

Hey Marple, if you want feedback: On the main game screen, where it has the resources listed, it has multiple windows (I think they are notification of stuff I can do) that are stuck behind it, with no way to click on them.
