EARLY ACCESS: Drake's Toosie Slide: Reviving Ringtone Rap?

So, let me start by saying that you have no idea how much I appreciate your continued support, this has been far more successful than I could have ever hoped. I have some videos planned for this month that I hope you'll enjoy, including the first ever Musical Autopsy: Cold Case, and the return of "Buckley's Breakdown" (you like when I review music, what about if I review other things?) Plus, Patreon exclusives "Patreon Goes Postal" and "Inside the Bottle" return this month, and even though I'm not going to officially do A Dose of Buckley LIVE for now, I am going to stream a couple of times this month on Twitch and still do the "talk to Buckley live on air" thing. I'll let you know when I'm going to do those as soon as I figure it out.

That's because racism is about power, not just words themselves. Because the word cracker is not rooted in deep societal oppression, it isn't going to carry the same weight as something like the N word, which has been used for centuries to de-humanize and marginalize black people. This is the reason why reverse racism is not a thing, because racism implies a societal power imbalance. People of colour can be discriminatory against white people, but they cannot be racist.
So I have a question, not just for Buckley but for everyone in the comments section about rap and racism. Why is it that rappers like 50 Cent can have lyrics in their songs like and I quote directly here "Quick these crackers'd give my black ass a hundred years" and that's FINE yet if I was to say "Shut up Fiddy you dumb n***er" that's racist? Someone explain to me how some people can say whatever the fuck they want and others have to walk around perpetually censoring themselves for fear of offending someone. WTSF indeed.

As for the capitalism/socialism debate, I choose both. You have private sector entrepreneurs like Buckley, and strong social programs backed by the government. No bureaucrat is creative nor funny enough to make a joke as good as the Venmo Challenge.
