A little inside story for you on this one as an extra bonus: I had actually written down the idea to do this video about 4 years ago. I wrote down one song in a Word document (#4 on the list), and "The Five Worst Songs of 1996". I already had an idea for the concept (this time, maybe it wouldn't be a "relative" doing the list, I would have been, what, 15 by that point?), and some ideas for how I wanted it to sound. But I didn't want to just throw it together, and I never had the time to execute it the way I wanted... until now! So, enjoy the latest entry into the "retro" worst songs series, 24 hours before anyone else gets to! Here's the video description:
Another lost recording, this time... it's Buckley himself?! Before YouTube, before he was old enough to be on the radio, a teenage Buckley took to the PA system of his high school to rank the worst songs of his grade 10 year.
*No, this isn't real. But nothing on the Internet is anyway.

I DID have someone downvote a video on YouTube while it was in Early Access, I forget the video but it wasn't one that would have been considered controversial I don't think. Not sure if they're still a Patreon subscriber or not. But technically I CAN ban people from Patreon, most people obviously wouldn't, but I guess if someone gave me a dollar just to shit on my work, I'd ban them, remove all their comments, and keep their dollar, so it would have been all for nothing, which is ALSO true to my style as a nihilist (it's all for nothing!)

I noticed that all the comments are positive, which makes sense (and yes, I liked this video too). I was wondering if anyone considered paying $1 just to shit all over the comments sections, then immediately canceling the $1 subscription. That would show real dedication. Imagine hating Buckley THAT much. It would be truly admirable, and an ironic tribute to Buckley's style.

Loving High School Buckley, especially as a 90's kid myself. Ah the 90's, such a treasure trove for comedy as the music was so bad. So were the sitcoms, I mean shitcoms, a bunch of a-holes sitting around their apartment whining about their lives. F**k you Seinfeld and friends.

I think I repressed memories of these terrible songs. Number 3 doesn't sound that bad to me; not my type at all though. Possibly because the other songs are so terrible I can't hate it as much.
