Sorry this took me a while to get to. Unfortunately I could not recommend them for an 11 year old. They do sometimes depict nudity, as well as some other "horrors" of war. There are ones that don't but since they usually come as collections of 3 or 4 stories at a time, one or two in the book may while others may not.

Would War Stories be somewhat appropriate for an 11 year old? Violence is fine, my nephew’s father has already ruined that and he’s desensitized from all of it. But is there any nudity or sex? His birthday is coming up and otherwise it seems like a cool gift to get him. Basically and historical comics like that as long as there’s minimal swearing and no sex lol.

Maybe I'll do a "things I actually like from Canadians" segment or something in a Patreon Goes Postal or on a livestream. But I'll say "Cube" as an example of something from Canada that's actually really good (because it takes advantage of how small a budget it has), but that probably could have been made better had it been done in the US.

What's the exception? Which Canadian thing/movie/entertainment unit do you think *is* better than American things, or is better than it would have been if it were American? This was delightful. Hey Buckley, in regards to the video where you made the blind joke, it's the LGBTQ Gatekeeping one, were you talk about Hayley Kiyoko's comments about Rita Ora's song "Girls." You were showing how Manika backtracked on her song "I Might Go Lesbian" and posted a "justification" as to why her song wasn't about choosing to be gay/lesbian (you put it on the Worst Songs of 2015).
