In case you missed yesterday's post, I gave Patreon subscribers a first-look at the full version of "Cummin' Buckets", the song I made up in my "90s Rap" video from late 2020.
Anyway, on to today's post, it's Bonus Video day! Today it's another trip down memory lane as a product you probably haven't thought of in a decade or more makes the news for upsetting a group of people.
2021 has been a great year for controversies that remind us about things no one's thought about in the last decade or more. After the whole Dr. Seuss and Mr. Potato Head issues, another 80s favorite has made the news, making people wonder "wait, that still exists?!" Buckley looks at the poorly timed release of a new Garbage Pail Kids card that pissed off the wrong K-Pop fans.

Great video as always :)! As someone who was a fan of BTS since their debut I always love how Armys act like BTS is perfect...nevermind that RM has said the N word during a performance. If you'd like a real treat look up Rap Monster No More Dream Era. Fucking hilarious.
Isn't it a whole trend in Asian parts of the world like Japan and Korea to "whiteify" themselves? I think like every j/K-pop band does this

And for that matter BTS are racist, the straight haior wigs and clothes, they are trying their hardest to look White and not Asian. Only if you stare at their faces can you make out they are Asian. If they were so Korean pride, they would look like Koreans, not wannabe white people.

I had these in the late 80s, we all brought them at school and my Mum banned them. Then the govt here banned them too. Seriously in late 1989, yet I have one still on my Duraseal Language book from 1989!

If they want to achieve true mainstream popularity in the US, I think "Dynamite" has proven that they do need to sing in English. Otherwise they'll only be popular with Kpop fans. Which is fine of course, clearly they're the most popular Kpop group in the world. But mainstream American audiences view any non-English hit as a novelty (Gangnam Style, Despacito, Macarena).

It's kinda funny because I've passed back and forth with BTS stans before. I'm on Kpop twit along with Cpop twt. Armies are delusional. can't even suggest an English album without them getting overly mad about it despite BTS's leanthy Japanese distography. "They don't need to learn English!" But they premote in America, the UK and Asutralia....Yet it's rude to ask about an possible English language album despite them having a whole distography in Japanese.
