Hey everyone, it's Early Access Day, but before that I figured I might as well give some updates about The Worst Songs of 2022! First off, If I didn't mention this already, I've decided it WILL go up on December 17, 2022. As always, anyone in the "Overdose" tier or above (before December 12) will have their name appear at the beginning, and anyone in the "Recommended Dose" tier will be eligible to join me on Discord for a special super early access screening, I'm thinking maybe as early as Tuesday, December 13th. If you haven't done this already, you can link your Discord account to Patreon with the instructions here:
https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/212052266-How-do-I-connect-Discord-to-Patreon-Patron-
Everyone will get early access to the video right here by December 16th at the very least, as well as the Bonus Worst Song video that's become an annual tradition. I'm thinking about uploading both of them here on Patreon now that Patreon allows you to upload video, just in case as a backup (it will also be on YouTube, but I'm anticipating a fight with them and I'm worried about it being down for a couple days at some point).
Anyway, two more weekend videos before we worry about that one, and I think you'll really enjoy this one, as I make fun of the e-mails I get from companies who want me to shill their products and services. Enjoy!
Buckley gives you an inside look at some of the e-mails creators get from companies who want to advertise on their channels! What kind of money are they offering? What demands are they making? How do they sell themselves? Is anyone trying to scam creators? It's a look at e-mails from VPN companies, Web3 companies, and of course, two of the biggest ones currently in the spotlight: "Raid: Shadow Legends" and "Established Titles".

The irony, imagine if there was something called "The common sense translator".... A translated email would look like this: Hi, we reckon that you have more success than us so we propose you to let us milk money from your success by giving you only bread crumbs and ruining your audience experience. Are you interested?!?

A smash even!

Oh for sure, they're just looking at numbers. Some of them might just be looking at subscriber counts, a few might go a little deeper and look at average views or even engagement numbers a little to see how "loyal" an audience might be (someone getting 200k views a video and like 100 comments may not be as good a prospect as someone getting 100k views and 1000 comments). But yeah it's unlikely they're REALLY looking at the content, they don't care that much. Which is going to be really funny when they end up sponsoring some racist and that becomes a whole big thing.

Yeah I'm glad some people caught that slide, I don't know how carefully people read some of them sometimes but I still like to sneak stuff in there. And yeah that "say the numbers instead of the letters or vice versa" gag is a throwback to when I'd do that for Tweeting Rainbow in the final "What Did We Learn?" section.

Thank you, I was really happy with how it turned out.

Lost it at the "Say what you will about crypto bros..." slide. That was beautiful. Also had to go back and watch the end again to make sure I wasn't crazy, and that you were saying letters but showing numbers. Excellent work, as usual.

Goddamn I’m so fucking numb to Raid: Shadow Legends. Literally everytime I watch a Count Dankula video…

That second to last email had me dying

Well, in my defense, the self-ratcheting cock hammer is a great product and you should definitely let us sponsor you. We're reasonably sure it would be a hit with your Subscribers!

I highly doubt that any of these people actually watched some of your videos. If they did, they wouldn’t have bothered to send you these emails…….
