Hey everyone, before we get started I just wanted to let everyone know that I've gone through all of the questions for this month's Q&A and answered them (you can find that here), there's close to 50 questions, feel free to check them out and I'll still answer more if you got 'em!
For those who follow the little "Patreon Previews" at the beginning of each of my videos, some of you might be like "When are you actually going to release that Tinder one?!" and I think that'll go up next week. It WAS going to be released a couple weeks ago, but it's not particularly time-sensitive while this video and last week's bonus video (the OF girl pissing away all her money) are more current events-related. Anyway, this week's a theme week, it's all music industry related (you know, that thing like half of my subscribers followed me because of!?), the weekend video will be about Morgan Wallen gaming the charts, and this bonus video is about Ed Sheeran fighting with more vultures trying to get rich off him. Buckley looks at ANOTHER recent lawsuit involving the family of a musician suing a modern artist over their work having a "similar feel". This time, Ed Sheeran was back in a courtroom to defend not just his music, but effectively the very idea of creativity. But is Buckley angrier over these lawsuits, OR... the fact that he has to respect ED SHEERAN?!

If anybody deserves to be sued into oblivion by Marvin Gaye's estate, it should have been Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor for that "Lets Marvin Gaye And Get It On" shit.

Everyone in the music world here is praising Ed Sheeran for finally standing up for what we’ve all been saying - that there are only so many notes and beats that exist and some are bound to be similar in style without blatantly ripping off - and setting a precedent legally

These are blatantly cash grabs too. It's not like songs sounding like other songs are new, but because it's Ed Sheeran or Dua Lipa or Katy Perry, there's money to be made there. Plus why are they using songs from artists who are long dead? The families of Marvin Gaye and others involved should have made enough money from the royalties long ago. I really hope this case can slow down these bullshit lawsuits.
