Hey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day, and this week I thought I'd share a little look at "how the sausage is made". Not literally of course, there's no footage of sausage being made, please don't run away screaming just yet... but I've been watching a lot of different content creators lately who STILL ask people to "leave a like" or "leave a comment" because it "helps the channel", and so I thought "let's prove or disprove whether or not that ACTUALLY helps using my own channel's stats!" I hope you find this one as interesting as I did. Enjoy!
You've heard content creators say some version of this on their channel before: "please give this video a like, and leave a comment, it helps the channel a lot". But does it? Buckley uses his own channel as a lab rat to determine if clicking that thumbs up button actually gives a channel a boost in the ol' algorithm, or if there's something else creators should be telling their audience to do.

I'm guessing this is a bit too in depth for the data you have, but do you know how the user switching devices affects things? With your exclusives I usually open the link to get it in my history then watch it on the TV Do you think this would be seen as "user only watched 1 second before leaving"? Or whether it would be "user continued video on another device"?
