Hey everyone, it's Early Access Day, AND it's the first video of the New Year! And it's very clear that I haven't learned a single thing over the last... well, 15 years really, as I start it off with something political! But, if you find yourself annoyed with political takes right now, don't worry, this is, at its heart, a pretty light-hearted comedy video. Enjoy!
Incoming President Donald Trump has decided to play a little hardball with his biggest trading partners, threatening tariffs on Canada and Mexico if they don't secure their borders. BUT, he's also offered another solution for his Northern Neighbors: just become the 51st State! Buckley looks at the supposed joke (that he keeps repeating, while also telling other countries he wants their land) and has a few of his own, mostly about how Canada would be a TERRIBLE state! America might want our stuff... but do they really want US?!

As much as I'd love to be able to just subscribe to HBO Max properly and to have a dollar that's not worthless when trying to buy stuff online, I think I like being able to go to the doctor and not have to pay a bill after.

Although I disagree with Trumps reasoning, I do agree with Canada and the US uniting into one country. But I feel like it would make more sense to incorporate each territory as its own state, not the entire country as one state. And Canada's leaders should be intertwined with US's leaders to form a 'hybrid' sort of government. Overall, I think countries uniting and removing borders is a great thing.

Well, the joke fired back in Infoman end of the year review. They made a spoof promotional video about the USA becoming the 11th province named South Saskatchewan.

Yeah I've seen some Canadian articles about that, "Canadians should be furious", why? It's never gonna happen, and if it does, we literally could not do a thing about it, they have a much larger military, and honestly? I'd like to be able to get HBO Max instead of Crave, and not pay $80 a month for Internet too!

I love it when the liberals are saying we should be offended by the joke, the Americans kept making that joke years. So if Trump says it, that's the straw that broke the camel's back? Shit's ridiculous, eh?
