I didn't go this year, but i did go to the two previous WWWY festivals. I'm not a festival fan, but it really wasn't all that bad. The crowd was definitely too big for general comfort, but honestly I really enjoyed it. I do agree that the idea to have the bands do full length albums was kind of a miss, but i wasn't there this year to verify haha. I guess one factor for me was that I ACTUALLY do like and regularly listen to a majority of the bands that were at WWWY both previous years, and had a hard time deciding which ones to see and which ones to skip!

Now that is a band I haven't heard mentioned in a year with the number 2 in it. The crusty ska people are still out there. Few months back a car in front of me had a Mustard Plug sticker on it. Thought that's cool, wait WTF! Only real suprise was the driver didn't have a pork pie hat on

True it’s funny how badly he messed up his 15 minutes of fame/infamy, also just as much as he didn’t belong there, neither “side” belonged there! He probably gets a lot of sympathy because he was protecting businesses and putting out dumpster fires

I don't think I said he crossed state lines WITH a gun, I know that was debunked, but either way he had no business being there. While I understand it was ruled self defense (and yes, that coincidentally one of the people he killed was a child predator, info he had NO WAY of knowing beforehand) my issue is the EXACT same as with the George Zimmerman case. George shouldn't have been where he was. HE was "attacked" while in someone else's neighborhood, as an antagonist, and it was ruled self-defense, but he never should have needed to defend himself because he shouldn't have been there. Kyle was not a police officer or a member of the national guard or reserves. He went there with a gun hoping for a fight, he got one, and now he's decided to capitalize on that by getting paid to speak at events and trying to make a garbage "video game" that didn't make him any money.

Great video, the Kyle rittenhouse thing was wrong though! He was staying with his father in town, he didn’t cross state lines with a gun, and while he did shoot a felon with a skateboard who was part of a mob trying to kill him, he also shot a child predator with a gun who also tried to kill him! His victory in court was a major win for self defense and the second amendment in the United States, shame he squandered all that by being a loser ever since

Irony with choosing a Slipknot cover band, being that Slipknot have a festival held every year with their namesake called 'Knotfest', wherein Slipknow and their people choose the bands that perform there.

Yeah I just heard about that. Looks like, at the very least, no one's going to lose any money (at least not customers).

Yeah I'm just hearing about this now. Guess that could have gone in here too! At least it looks like they plan to offer refunds, so it's maybe not as bad as Lucidity at least.

But did you hear about Sick New World 2025!? They cancelled it already “due to unforeseen circumstances”, but the rumor is that they offered the bands too much money and are in the hole by a few mill even if they sell out💀
