Tinder decided to test out a new option to help people find people they'd be more compatible with, but some fellas are a little upset... pun intended? A look at the response to the new "Height Filter" that would allow users to decide who is and who isn't tall enough to get on this ride. Buckley clears up some misconceptions, and provides his own opinions as a vertically challenged man... oh, you didn't know?!

That cup size filter would be really nice though. As long as I can set a max of B-cups. I like a girl who's in the Itty Bitty TIttie Committee. Short, tall, whatever, but monster boobs is a no go. While we're at it, can I search by hairstyle? Girls with short hair are extra hot to me. (No, really, I'm not secretly gay.)

It really has a lot to do with personality and confidence. I’ve dated men of all kinds of heights I couldn’t care less. The second you obsess over it I’m out, I’m the insecure female here thank you lol. No but seriously when you actually have a personality it goes a long way. And no I don’t mean being the “nice guy,” that’s great and all but be a person too lol. I was actually told I’m too tall by a guy on tinder-I’m 5’7 he was supposedly 6’0. I barely wear heels and when I do I’m still not taller because they’re usually short heels. He actually said enjoy always being taller than guys. Like what? I will? Because I don’t date children I date men who don’t care about that so thanks for saving me time and letting me know you’re short and not a short king either. Short kings are super hot btw because they go about their life not caring about trivial things like height.

I'm honestly surprised Tinder didn't already have a height filter. The dating sites I used in the pre-app era all had filters you could set to narrow the field. And I saw plenty of profiles from women 5'2" looking for a guy 5'10" or taller. (One of my friends admitted as much: "Eww, you're too short...I need a guy who's still taller than me when I wear 4" heels.") But hey, I probably missed out on a few nice girls because I was filtering out smokers. Maybe this one falls into the running list of Things Young People Think They Discovered.
