Hey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day, and yes this one's just for you! I've talked about my history with boxing over the years, so when a clip went viral a week or so ago that shows the completely irresponsible side of "combat sports", I felt compelled to make this video. Also, this one has maybe one of my most unexpected endings ever. Enjoy!
Combat sports are struggling in terms of viewership. Watching people just get punched or kicked? BOOOORING! And so, people keep trying to come up with new gimmicks to bring audiences in. Buckley looks at some of the more funny and absurd ones from the last couple years (including fighting inside a phone booth? and a car?) and talks about how messed up Power Slap is, the "sport" invented by Dana White where people just take turns hitting each other with zero defense. The ratings haven't been great for it either though, so Buckley proposes a fix.
