I think Ranton's view of the EU disappearing stems from the fact that he's German. Maybe Germany and France really have the hardcore Eurosceptic view, but when you look at other countries, western or eastern, even goddamn Orban, Fico and Babis don't want to leave the EU. Who else would pay their bills, even the most anti-EU, eurosceptic wannabe dictators know that Russia has no wealth. They let them help to get power, but then they stick to the EU nip to suck as much € from the system as possible.

On brexit at the end, I'm pretty sure it was an advisory referendum and it was never binding, and with it being such a small margin it is crazy they actually went through with it instead of having either a revote or just ignoring it.
