Mortem 0.2.0 (ALPHA RELEASE)
🕑 Added 2021-04-05 06:51:02 +0000 UTCSorry for another late-night post. Getting everything together for this one took a lot longer than I expected. I meant to have this done by late afternoon Sunday my time but it didn't hit me how big an update this one was until I tried to fit in two months of work into one readable download post.
I hope it all makes sense. I'm kind of delirious at this point and I have to get up for work in about 4 hours. π
Below is a Summary of Changes from the download post so that everyone knows what to expect overall since the itch page doesn't go fully live until Beta Testing.
We added/changed the following:
- RELIABLE REPORT A DEATH CALL: Previously this phone option only appeared when a Sim nearby was dying. Now, this option will always be present with some consequence if called when there isn't a deceased Sim nearby.
- NEW REMAIN HANDLING OPTIONS: With this update, you will now have quite a few options on how to handle your Sims remains.
- BEREAVEMENT LEAVE OPTION: You can give your Sims additional time to grieve and handle arrangement
- NEW FUNERAL SERVICE EXPERIENCE: No longer are you relegated to a rabbithole. You can now have a full service with everyone you know outside of the EA event system.
- MULTIPLE DEATH HANDLING: Multiple Sim Deaths will each have separate arrangements.
- NEW BURIAL OBJECTS: Instead of just keeping the urn or tombstone in the normal spots, you can now place them in a Tomb or Mausoleum with other family members or friends.

This error does not relate to Mortem. It sounds like you may need to check out your other mods. To confirm, you can remove your other mods and try killing a Sim with the cheat mt.die. If it works you for sure need to go through your other mods. For additional support, please go to our Discord server.
