And to showcase what should be coming this month, we are adding to this update by enhancing the tenant side of things. Meaning the ability to rent properties that other Sims own. Similar to the Tenant Interview, your Sim will now go through the Landlord Interview.

Summary of Changes
We added/changed the following:
- Rental Property Management: For that time in your Sim's life where they own multiple pieces of property and would like those properties to start working in their favor, this update brings in additional functionality to make that happen.
- Baseline Tenancy Management: This update adds support for not only rental property but also a foundational tenant experience. In other words, this is just the beginning of what we plan to add to the Tenant Experience. This update is focused chiefly on the Landlord side of the equation.
- Moonwood Mill and Werewolf Support: Would your Sim like to brave the unknown and live in the mystical land of Moonwood Mill? Well, you don't have to send them through the EA Move System in order to make that happen. This world has been added to avoid NPC Werewolf social interaction during R|E transactions.
- Improved Negotiation Battles and Multiple Properties Ownership: Updated the existing Process for an all-around better experience based on feedback we received after our prior release.
- Additional Small Enhancements and Fixes

Sorry! I just saw this comment. Patreon doesn't really notify me of comments on older posts. But yes, your teen should be able to rent out a home. There just needs to be an available property with an active landlord to be a tenant, or she can rent one of the EA apartments.
I have had this issue as well. When I rent out they immediately move out. Is there a way to fix this?

i am loving it so much , but not sure on how to be the tennent ? and is it teen capable as i want my teen to rent her first propery xx
Iโm now running into an issue where the last 3 renters I approved, immediately move out as soon as the screen is done loading.

We have built-in scenarios where not-so-great tenants may not pay their rent. You have the option to evict them or let the past due rent pile up with additional late charges.
Do renters ever pay? Iโve tried 3 different families and none have paid. Is there something I can do differently so they actually pay?

I'd love to know this too. I want all my YA sims to rent first instead of buying homes at 18. I find it more realistic.

sorry really random question , so i have set up the properties as rentals and then gone to a diff family as i wanted one of them to move out, how do i get them to rent the property or apply for it ? the only thing i can do is buy a house ?
